The trek offers an adventurous climb through lush forests, past hidden caves, and to a summit that unveils breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. This moderate to challenging trek is perfect for those seeking a blend of history, adventure, and nature, with a historical fort at the peak, dating back to ancient times. The trek starts with a 2-km walk along the railway track and culminates at the summit where the sun rises over the Gunjar Lake, which resembles the shape of South America.

ITINERARY:
- 11:30 PM: Pick-up starts from Bangalore (exact pick-up points shared via WhatsApp)
- 05:00 AM: Arrive at Makalidurga base
- 05:30 AM: Meet fellow trekkers
- 05:45 AM: Begin the trek
- 07:00 AM: Start descending towards the base
- 09:00 AM: Head to a nearby restaurant for breakfast (self-sponsored)
- 10:30 AM: Depart back to Bangalore
- 12:30 PM: Arrive in Bangalore

- Bellandur (01:50 AM): Near Central Mall
- Marathahalli (02:20 AM): Opposite Kalamandir
- Tin Factory (02:40 AM): Bus Stop
- Hebbal (02:50 AM): Opposite Esteem Mall
Drop points are the same as pick-up points.
The pick-up points remain the same, but the timings are tentative.
Once booked, further details such as exact pick-up times, locations, and coach details will be shared via WhatsApp. Any changes in pick-up locations will be notified 10-12 hours before the start of the trip.
What to Bring:

- Sweater/jacket (it’s chilly at night)
- Raincoat/Poncho (just in case the weather`s not in our favor)
- Good sports shoes or trekking shoes (no flip-flops, please!)
- Flashlight/Torch with extra batteries
- Camera (if you`d like to capture the moments)
- Small Backpack to carry your essentials
Important Reminders:
- Note: We’ll create a WhatsApp group on the departure day for trip updates. Please add your WhatsApp number in the "Additional Information" section at checkout.
- Cleanliness is our priority. Don’t be that person who throws trash around.
- This isn’t a luxury trip — you’re exploring nature, so expect some basic amenities. Washrooms are only available at the hotel, campsite, Tent Stay (you reach the hotel/campsite/Tent stay).
- You’ll be carrying your own equipment like bags, sticks, etc.
- Alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly prohibited during the trek.
- Wearing trekking shoes is highly recommended for the best experience.
- Any personal expenses like extra meals, drinks, or snacks aren’t included.
- Littering is a no-no! If you’re caught, you could be fined.
Cancellation Policy:
- If you cancel 0-15 days before the trek, no refund will be given. The total cost is charged as a cancellation fee.
- If you cancel 15-30 days before the trek, 50% of the total cost will be deducted.
- Once the permits are booked under your name, they cannot be refunded. If you postpone, the permit fee for the new date will have to be paid again.
